    The contribution of Professor Manuel Correia de Andrade to spatial understanding and regional territorial planning for the development of Pernambuco is important in the current understanding of the State. The objective of this work is to analyze the contribution of Manuel Correia's thought and work in the socio-economic development from the regionalization of the State of Pernambuco. As a scientific method, the Systematic Review of Literature was used, in the methodological procedure, the set of possible readings proposed by Salvador, divided into 5 moments. The main results of the research were that the exchange in France influenced the regional conceptions of the teacher, the knowledge about the Northeast and its criticality was important for the applicability of its concepts and adaptations to the Pernambuco reality. Concluding, therefore, that the understanding of the author's works is fundamental for the spatial analysis of the State, since it was regionalized by the professor twice, with the objective of organizing space, in order to improve understanding and enhance public policies in these regions

    A contribuição do professor Manuel Correia de Andrade a compreensão espacial e do ordenamento territorial regional para o desenvolvimento de Pernambuco, é importante no entendimento atual do Estado. O trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a contribuição do pensamento e da obra de Manuel Correia no desenvolvimento socioeconômico a partir da regionalização do Estado de Pernambuco. Como método cientifico foi utilizada a Revisão Sistemática da Literatura, no procedimento metodológico, o conjunto de possibilidade de leituras propostos por Salvador, divido em 5 momentos. Os principais resultados da pesquisa foram que o intercâmbio na França influenciou nas concepções regionais do professor, o conhecimento acerca do Nordeste e sua criticidade foi importante para aplicabilidade dos seus conceitos e adaptações a realidade pernambucana. Concluindo, assim, que o entendimento sobre as obras do autor é fundamental para analise espacial do Estado, pois, esse foi regionalizado pelo professor duas vezes, com o objetivo de organizar espaço, afim de melhorar a compreensão e potencializar as políticas públicas nessas regiões.
