    La hematuria, se define como la presencia de glóbulos rojos en la orina, que puede ser macroscópica (visible a simple vista) o microscópica (detectada solo mediante análisis de laboratorio). Es un hallazgo clínico importante que puede indicar una variedad de condiciones médicas, desde trastornos benignos hasta enfermedades graves. La evaluación diagnóstica exhaustiva es fundamental para identificar la causa subyacente de la hematuria y determinar el curso adecuado de tratamiento. Los profesionales de la salud deben estar alerta ante la presencia de hematuria y trabajar en estrecha colaboración con los pacientes para realizar una evaluación completa y brindar un cuidado óptimo
