Resumen de Intervención educativa para reducir el nivel de ansiedad en pacientes adultos intervenidos para la implantación de un DAI en el hospital universitario Miguel Servet: proyecto de investigación

  La implantación de un DAI (desfibrilador automático implantable) puede suponer un momento de inestabilidad, ansiedad y miedo en la vida de los pacientes, pudiendo modificar su estado de ánimo tanto la intervención como la futura convivencia en el día a día con el dispositivo.

  Mediante la implantación de este dispositivo se pretende reducir el número de casos de muerte súbita debidos a diferentes patologías y ello ha acarreado un aumento significativo del número de implantes que se realizan en la actualidad.

  Con el estudio planteado a continuación se quiere indagar y avanzar en aspectos poco estudiados hasta el momento, en cuanto a proporcionar una formación adecuada a todos aquellos pacientes que hayan sido intervenidos para la implantación de un DAI.

  Por los temores expresados por parte de los pacientes por el desconocimiento, se plantean sesiones formativas a los pacientes del Hospital Universitario Miguel Servet intervenidos por esto en el 2024, que quieran participar en el estudio y cumplan los criterios de inclusión y exclusión.

  Con el objetivo de determinar si la formación recibida mejora los aspectos de temor y ansiedad antes comentados, se llevará a cabo un estudio de tipo cuantitativo cuasi-experimental, de carácter prospectivo y longitudinal, utilizando para la recogida de datos un cuestionario de ansiedad y un cuestionario pre y post- test, estos últimos de elaboración propia.

  The implantation of an ICD (implantable automatic defibrillator) can represent a moment of instability, anxiety and fear in the lives of patients, and their mood can be modified by both the intervention and their future daily life with the device.

  The implantation of this device is intended to reduce the number of cases of sudden death due to different pathologies and this has led to a significant increase in the number of implants that are currently performed.

  With the study outlined below we want to investigate and advance aspects that have been little studied so far, in terms of providing adequate training to all those patients who have undergone surgery for the implantation of an ICD.

  Due to the fears expressed by the patients due to lack of knowledge, it is proposed to carry out training sessions for all those patients of the Miguel Servet University Hospital who were intervened for this reason during the year 2024, who wish to participate in the study and meet the criteria for inclusion and exclusion.

  In order to, determine if the training received improves the fear and anxiety aspects mentioned above, a quasi-experimental quantitative study of a prospective and longitudinal nature will be carried out, using an anxiety questionnaire and a questionnaire to collect data, pre and post-test questionnaire, the latter of own elaboration.
