  • The essay examines in what terms the collective dimension and the role of trade unions can develop in personal data protection legislation, from a perspective that enhances the impact and functionality of this system of rules to strengthen the guarantees for workers. Particular attention is given to the challenges arising from algorithmic work management and the future connection with EU rules on artificial intelligence.
