  El objetivo de esta investigación es evaluar el impacto del comercio internacional mediante el transporte marítimo y su afectación con el medio ambiente, evaluando sus principales causas, las diferentes normativas existentes y evaluando las posibles soluciones a largo plazo de esta situación que causa efectos ambientales en todo el mundo. El presente trabajo brinda una compilación de como el constante crecimiento del comercio internacional tiene un impacto significativo en el medio ambiente a través del transporte marítimo, presentando desafíos desde la pérdida de la biodiversidad, alteración de los ecosistemas marítimos hasta daños en la salud humana. El artículo muestra cómo debe haber un equilibrio entre el desarrollo económico y sostenibilidad, así mismo, cómo la innovación en la industria marítima es esencial para lograr un comercio marítimo más respetuoso con el medio ambiente.

  The objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of international trade through maritime transport and its impact on the environment, evaluating its main causes, the different existing regulations and the possible long-term solutions to this situation that causes negative effects. environments around the world. This work provides a compilation of how the constant growth of international trade has a significant impact on the environment through maritime transport, presenting challenges from the loss of biodiversity, alteration of maritime ecosystems to damage to human health.
