Resumen de Violencia estatal y el teatro chileno durante la dictadura cívico-militar chilena. El caso de la carpa La Feria (1977)

El presente artículo ahonda en el caso de la quema de la carpa del grupo teatral La Feria, ocurrido el 12 de marzo de 1977. Se propone que este hecho sirvió como ejemplo para el resto de artistas que osaran alzar sus críticas contra la dictadura. Para esto, el artículo se divide en tres partes, considerando una aproximación teórica al problema en cuestión, la cual ahonda en cuestiones tales como la violencia simbólica y el peso de las representaciones; la reconstrucción misma del caso, la cual se realiza a través de un acucioso trabajo de fuentes; y las reflexiones finales, las cuales, buscan entender el impacto y de este hecho en la historia del teatro nacional. Finalmente, a través de este artículo se busca no solo relevar un acontecimiento, sino incorporarlo en un proceso, en la relación de la dictadura cívico-militar chilena con la cultura, destacando el papel de Hojas de Parra.

This article delves into the case of the burning of the tent of the theater group La Feria, which occurred on March 12, 1977. It is proposed that this fact served as an example for other artists who dared to raise their criticisms against the dictatorship. For this, the article is divided into three parts, considering a theoretical approach to the problem in question, which delves into issues such as symbolic violence and the weight of representations; the reconstruction of the case itself, which is carried out through a painstaking work of sources; and the final reflections, which seek to understand the impact and of this fact in the history of the national theater. Finally, through this article we seek not only to reveal an event, but also to incorporate it into a process, in the relationship of the chilean civic-military dictatorship with culture, highlighting the role of Hojas de Parra.
