Estudio observacional de los aspectos temporales y los tipos de golpeo en la pelota valenciana en la modalidad profesional del raspall durante la competición de liga

    Dentro de los juegos de pelota a mano encontramos la pelota valenciana, un deporte tradicional valenciano (España). Éste se compone de varias modalidades, pudiéndose destacar la modalidad profesional del raspall. El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar la estructura temporal y cuantificar los gestos técnicos de 18 pelotaris profesionales masculinos a lo largo de 8 partidas del ‘XXXVIII Liga de raspall 2021-2022’ utilizando el software LINCE PLUS. Los resultados indicaron que no existen diferencias significativas entre las duraciones de los juegos y los descansos entre juegos/puntos. La posición del jugador tuvo un efecto significativo sobre el tipo de golpeo realizado (X224= 1191.2; p <.001; j= .52) y sobre la mano de golpeo (X22= 17.94; p<.001; j=.064). El punter fue el jugador que realizó un menor porcentaje total de golpeos (17,83%) respecto al mitger (40,53%) y el resto (41,64%) pero con mayores porcentajes de golpeos ganadores (p<0,05). La mano de golpeo tuvo un efecto significativo sobre el resultado del golpeo (X23= 35.7; P <.001; j=.09) obteniéndose con la mano derecha mayor porcentaje de golpeos ganadores. El tipo de golpeo obtuvo un efecto significativo (X23= 35.7; P <.001; Phi =.09) sobre la consecuencia en el punto, observándose un mayor porcentaje en los golpeos ganadores con el gesto técnico de la Parada en relación con el resto de golpeos. En conclusión, el estudio nos aportada por primera vez en contexto real una información de gran valor para el entrenamiento específico del jugador de raspall.

    Within the handball games we find the pelota valenciana, a traditional Valencian sport (Spain). This is made up of several modalities, which can be highlighted the professional modality of raspall. The objective of the present study was to analyze the temporal structure and quantify the technical gestures of 18 professional male players throughout 8 games of the ‘XXXVIII Liga de raspall 2021-2022’ using the LINCE PLUS software. The results indicated that there are no significant differences between the durations of the games and the breaks between games/points. The player's position had a significant effect on the type of hit made (X224= 1191.2; p <.001; j= .52) and on the hitting hand (X22= 17.94; p<.001; j=.064) . The punter (pointer) was the player who made a lower total percentage of shots (17.83%) compared to the mitger (medium) (40.53%) and the resto (returner) (41.64%) but with higher percentages of winning shots (p<0.05 ). The hitting hand had a significant effect on the result of the hitting (X23= 35.7; P <.001; j=.09) obtaining a higher percentage of winning hits with the right hand. The type of hit had a significant effect (X23= 35.7; P <.001; j=.09) on the consequence in the point, observing a higher percentage in the winning hits with the technical gesture of the Parada in relation to the rest. In conclusion, the study provided us, for the first time in a real context, with information of great value for the specific training of the raspall player.
