Los molinos de viento son un ejemplo de arquitectura tradicional y del patrimonio industrial y agrario. En Mazarrón los primeros molinos datan del siglo XVIII y en el último tercio del siglo XIX se generaliza su construcción. Son molinos del tipo mediterráneo, con torre circular, techo giratorio, con cuatro pares de varas y ocho velas latinas. Con el paso de los años han quedado olvidados y presentan un estado ruinoso. Uno de ellos, si se realiza una intervención urgente y adecuada, puede restaurarse y servir como testimonio histórico y como recurso cultural y turístico.

Windmills are an an example of traditional architecture and industrial and agrarian heritage. In Mazarrón the first windmills date back to 18th century,and by the last third of 19th century its construction became widespread.They are Mediterraneam type windmills,with circular tower,rotating cap,with four pairs of rods and eight triangular sails. Over the years they have been forgotten and are in dilapidated condition. Only one of them, i fan urgent and appropiate intervention is ccarried out,can still be restored and serve as historic testimony and cultural and touristic resource.
