    El grupo Wagner ha ejercido un control importante sobre la República Centroafricana desde que llegó al país en 2018. Principal apoyo del gobierno, el grupo ha entrenado y reforzado las fuerzas armadas para retomar el control del país mediante apoyo material y tácticas brutales. El poder de Wagner parece haber eclipsado al del gobierno, que a duras penas controla la capital. En el presente estudio se analizará la evolución del grupo, su control político, militar y social y sus perspectivas geopolíticas tras el golpe de 2023 en la República Centroafricana.

    The Wagner group has exerted significant control over the Central African Republic since arriving in the country in 2018. Mainly supported by the government, the group has trained and reinforced the armed forces to retake control of the country through material support and brutal tactics. Wagner's power has eclipsed that of the government, which barely controls the capital. This study will analyse the evolution of the group, its political, military, and social control, and the geopolitical prospects after the 2023 coup in the Central African Republic.
