Este artículo aborda las problemáticas de ortografía literal manifestadas por estudiantes de segundo año medio pertenecientes a cuatro establecimientos educacionales de diferentes comunas de la Región del Biobío. Sobre la metodología del análisis de errores y de corpus, se presenta un estudio cuantitativo y cualitativo para dar cuenta del error más frecuente y recurrente de ortografía literal. Los resultados evidencian que el error más frecuente identificado en los escritos de los estudiantes es la elección errónea de las grafías , y . Del total de los anteriores, más de la mitad fue también recurrente en dos o tres textos producidos por un mismo sujeto, por ende, el uso de dichas las grafías se expresa como una problemática relevante y sostenida a lo largo del tiempo.

This article addresses the problems of literal spelling by second-year students, belonging to four educational establishments in different communes of the Biobío Region. Based on the error and corpus analysis methodology, a quantitative and qualitative study is presented to account for the most frequent and recurring errors in this area. The results show that the most frequent literal spelling error identified in the students' writings is the incorrect choice of the spellings "s", "c" and "z". Likewise, of the total of these errors, more than half were also recurring in two or three texts produced by the same subject, therefore, the use of these spellings is expressed as a relevant and sustained problem over time.
