Resumen de Percepción de la comunidad educativa respecto a los efectos de la transición educativa en las escuelas normales tradicionales

  PROBLEMA: en el municipio de Chiquimula, se ha planteado la transición de la carrera del Magisterio por el Bachillerato en Ciencias y Letras con orientación en Educación como una estrategia para mejorar la formación de los futuros maestros. OBJETIVO: determinar la percepción de la comunidad educativa respecto a los efectos de la transición educativa dada en las escuelas normales tradicionales del municipio de Chiquimula. MÉTODO: se utilizó el enfoque mixto con alcance descriptivo, utilizando diseño concurrente, método estudio de casos, grupos focales con alumnas de quinto bachillerato, técnicas de entrevistas semiestructuradas al personal administrativo, encuestas y como instrumento guía de entrevista y cuestionario para obtener información sobre la percepción de los participantes.  RESULTADOS: es evidente la mayoría de los participantes poseen nuevos conocimientos y habilidades, la mayor vinculación con la realidad educativa y la posibilidad de acceder a una carrera universitaria. Sin embargo, también se han identificado algunos desafíos, como la necesidad de una formación y capacitación adecuadas, la asignación de recursos suficientes y la adaptación a las nuevas metodologías educativas. CONCLUSIÓN: en cuanto al haber escogido la carrera de Profesorado en Educación Primaria Intercultural es satisfactorio saber que todos lo hicieron por vocación, algunos por legado familiar y poder conseguir un trabajo con el Ministerio de Educación. La ventaja que ven es que el Profesorado es a nivel universitario y es completo al momento de requerir una plaza a futuro.

  PROBLEM: in the municipality of Chiquimula, the transition from the Teaching career to the Baccalaureate in Sciences and Letters with an orientation in Education has been proposed as a strategy to improve the training of future teachers. OBJECTIVE: determine the perception of the educational community regarding the effects of the educational transition given in the traditional normal schools of the municipality of Chiquimula. METHOD: the mixed approach with descriptive scope was used, using concurrent design, case study method, focus groups with fifth-high school students, semi-structured interview techniques with administrative staff, surveys and as an interview guide and questionnaire instrument to obtain information about the perception of the participants. RESULTS: it is evident that the majority of participants have new knowledge and skills, the greatest connection with the educational reality and the possibility of accessing a university degree. However, some challenges have also been identified, such as the need for adequate education and training, the allocation of sufficient resources and the adaptation to new educational methodologies. CONCLUSION: Regarding having chosen the career of Teaching in Intercultural Primary Education, it is satisfying to know that everyone did it by vocation, some by family legacy and being able to get a job with the Ministry of Education. The advantage they see is that the Teaching Staff is at the university level and is complete when requiring a position in the future.
