    La fenomenología de Husserl muestra que los fenómenos en general exhiben aspectos que son accesibles y aspectos que se resisten al análisis. Entre estos últimos se cuentan los animales prehistóricos, los seres humanos provenientes de las culturas animistas y el lado inconsciente de la subjetividad. Este trabajo se propone describir algunos rasgos esenciales de dichos fenómenos y sugerir que son sólo relativamente inaccesibles. Los animales prehistóricos pueden reconstruirse a partir de los animales actuales. El animismo es una característica universal del ser humano y se puede acceder al inconsciente mediante sus umbrales y la rememoración de los sueños.

    Husserl’s phenomenology shows that phenomena in general display aspects that are accessible while others seem to be reluctant to be analyzed. Among the latter are prehistoric animals, humans from animistic cultures, and the unconscious side of subjectivity. This paper aims to describe some essential features of these phenomena and suggest that they are only relatively inaccessible. Prehistoric animals can be reconstructed on the basis of current ones. Animism is a universal feature in all humans, and the unconscious can be accessed through its thresholds and through the recollection of dreams.
