Resumen de O lugar e a importância da concepção de diálogo e da noção de interculturalidade nos estudos de religião

  The text presents research results on issues that involve the appreciation of religious and cultural diversity and the possibilities of approximation, cooperation and dialogue between the different groups that make up this framework and how the interaction of such analyzes and attitudes critically challenges the studies of religion. The concepts of dialogue and interculturality stem from practical attitudes and positions and require forms of sociocultural insertion. They are not restricted to practical data, but require a solid analytical base associated with attitudes that value plurality, openness to dialogue and the intersection of knowledge. Methodologically, the research results are presented in three concatenated steps. The first indicates the need to articulate border elements of Religious Studies and Theology, due to the propositional character that the perspectives of dialogue and interculturality have and the need to avoid apologetic, subjectivist and arbitrary positions in relation to them. The second focuses on the critical aspects that were generated in the theologies of religions in relation to the centralism of Christianity as a criterion for evaluating the set of religious experiences and spiritualities. For this, the analysis presents a look at the issues of interculturality, both from the conceptual movement carried out by Raimon Panikkar towards intercultural dialogue, which goes beyond the borders of religion, as well as the theologies of religion in a Latin American context, based on the pluralist principle, which, among other aspects, emphasizes Catherine Walsh’s distinction between functional and critical interculturality within decolonial cultural studies. The third brings together the possibilities of conceptual broadening, with: (i) the critique of the modern concept of religion, (ii) the appreciation of the transdisciplinary and transreligious dimensions for understanding the complexity of reality and (iii) the presentation of possibilities for interfaith, interconviction and intercultural dialogues, not restricted to the interreligious dialogue.

  O texto apresenta resultados de pesquisa sobre questões que envolvem a apreciação da diversidade religiosa e cultural e as possibilidades de aproximação, cooperação e diálogo entre os distintos grupos que compõem esse quadro e como a interação de tais análises e atitudes interpela criticamente os estudos de religião. As concepções de diálogo e de interculturalidade decorrem de posturas e posicionamentos práticos e requerem formas de inserção sociocultural. Elas não são restritas ao dado prático, mas exigem sólida base analítica associada a atitudes de valorização da pluralidade, de abertura ao diálogo e de entrecruzamento de saberes. Metodologicamente, os resultados da pesquisa estão apresentados em três passos concatenados. O primeiro indica a necessidade de articulação de elementos fronteiriços das disciplinas Ciências da Religião e Teologia, em função do caráter propositivo que as perspectivas de diálogo e de interculturalidade possuem, bem como de se evitarem posições apologéticas, subjetivistas e arbitrárias em relação a elas. O segundo enfoca os aspectos críticos gerados nas teologias das religiões em relação ao centralismo do cristianismo como critério de avaliação do conjunto de experiências religiosas e de espiritualidades. Para isso, a análise propõe um olhar voltado às questões da interculturalidade, tanto a partir do movimento conceitual realizado por Raimon Panikkar em direção ao diálogo intercultural, que ultrapassa as fronteiras do religioso, quanto às teologias da religião em contexto latino-americano, base do princípio pluralista, que, entre outros aspectos, enfatiza a distinção entre interculturalidade funcional e crítica, feita por Catherine Walsh, dentro dos estudos culturais decoloniais. Por fim, o terceiro passo reúne as possibilidades de alargamento conceitual, com: (i) a crítica ao conceito moderno de religião; (ii) a valorização das dimensões transdisciplinar e transreligiosa para a compreensão da complexidade da realidade e (iii) a apresentação das possibilidades de diálogos interfés, interconvicções e interculturais, não se restringindo ao inter-religioso.
