Resumen de A narratividade bíblica e os imaginários religiosos

This article suggests a literary way to look at religious discourses through a hypothesis about the presence of biblical narrativity in fundamentalist religious imaginaries. Studying the most remarkable patterns of biblical narratives and defending their presence of this literature (both in form and content) in contemporary Western culture, we will be said that the worldview of fundamentalist Christian groups is constructed narratively, following the shapes defined by biblical narrators. The analytical apparatus used to reach the expected results are Literary Analysis, which highlights the features of biblical narrativity, and Discourse Analysis, which focuses on the narrative level of religious communication to show the imposition of biblical fiction on the fundamentalist way of creating order and meaning for our existence.

Este artigo sugere um olhar literário para os discursos religiosos por meio de uma hipótese sobre a presença da narratividade bíblica nos imaginários religiosos fundamentalistas. Estudando os padrões mais marcantes das narrativas bíblicas e defendendo a presença dessa literatura (em formas e conteúdos) na cultura ocidental contemporânea, dir-se-á que a cosmovisão dos grupos cristãos fundamentalistas é construída narrativamente, seguindo os moldes definidos pelos narradores bíblicos. Os procedimentos analíticos usados para chegar aos resultados esperados são a Análise literária que destaca os traços característicos da narratividade bíblica e a Análise do discurso que volta-se ao nível narrativo da comunicação religiosa para apontar a imposição da ficcionalidade bíblica sobre o modo fundamentalista de criar ordem e sentido para a existência.
