Juventudes e religião: estado de conhecimento sobre as produções brasileiras entre 2015 e 2019

    The concept of youth is increasingly plural, and its ontological construction works together with several other concomitant areas of knowledge. The presence of religion, or its absence, is an important fact in the subjective construction of each individual. This text has as main objective to build the state of knowledge about theses and dissertations that approach the theme of youth and religions. In order to achieve the proposed objective, bibliographic research was used in the IBCT Data White (Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations), looking for dissertations and theses with the descriptors “youth”, “religion”, and “religiosity”, with the production cut between the years 2015 and 2019. Twenty-two works were selected, which were categorized to produce the results. From the results collected, it is clear that most of the works were dissertations; annual production decreased at the end of the time frame, most of the researchers were from public universities, most of them in the southeast region; most of the works did not have a financing grant; the most prominent religion in the polls was evangelical; the theme is used by several areas of knowledge; the vast area of themes related to youth and religion is also demonstrated in the categories of conclusions presented in the works; the greatest result of the data collection strategy is the use of interviews, showing the need that the authors find in listening to young people. Based on the results, it is possible to consider that in the constitution of youths, religion acts with influence on what makes young people young.

    O conceito de juventude encontra-se cada vez mais plural, e sua construção ontológica atua junto de várias outras áreas de conhecimento concomitantes. A presença da religião, ou sua ausência, é um fato importante na construção subjetiva de cada indivíduo. O presente texto tem como principal objetivo construir o estado do conhecimento acerca de teses e dissertações que abordam o tema das juventudes e religiões. A fim de atingir o objetivo proposto, utilizou-se de investigação bibliográfica no Branco de Dados do IBCT (Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações) para procurar por dissertações e teses com os descritores “jovens”, “religião”, “juventude” e “religiosidade”, com o recorte de produção entre os anos de 2015 e 2019. Foram selecionados 22 trabalhos, os quais foram categorizados para a produção dos resultados. Dos resultados colhidos, percebe-se que a maioria dos trabalhos foram dissertações; a produção anual diminuiu no final do recorte temporal, a maior parte dos pesquisadores era de universidades públicas, sendo a maioria da região sudeste; a maior parte dos trabalhos não possuía bolsa de financiamento; a religião em maior evidência nas pesquisas foi a evangélica; o tema é aproveitado por várias áreas de conhecimento; a vasta área de temas relacionados à juventude e religião também é demonstrada nas categorias de conclusões apresentadas nos trabalhos; a estratégia de coleta de dados tem como maior resultado o uso de entrevistas, mostrando a necessidade que os autores encontram em escutar os jovens. Com base nos resultados, é possível considerar que, na constituição das juventudes, a religião atua com influência no que faz os jovens serem jovens.
