    Sin duda que los fines de siglos son aterradores para algunas personas; para otros, en cambio, representan el paso casi metafísico a otro mundo, a un futuro mejor, a una nueva vida o a una nueva historia. El  que se acepte la creencia en el despertar a una nueva historia es producto de la visión teleológica de la temporalidad que, en el caso nuestro, no se entrega la cultura judeocristiana, La que deja sentada en sus bases el paso de una vida hacia otra.

    No doubt the ends of the centuries are terrifying for some people; For others, however, they represent the almost metaphysical passage to another world, to a better future, to a new life, or a new story. The fact that the belief in awakening to a new history is accepted is a product of the teleological vision of temporality that, in our case, is not offered by Judeo-Christian culture, which leaves the passage from one life to another laid at its foundations.
