Resumen de Il «Repertorio Digitale della Canzone Italiana». Forme e funzioni del metro nel secondo Cinquecento
The paper presents and describes the operation of the open access online platform Repertorio Digitale della Canzone Italiana (RDCI). The website collects data sheets with metrical, philological, and thematic information on the canzoni of the second half of the 16th century. The data of some parameters adopted in the filing are analysed (scheme, length of the stanza, number of stanze, etc.), so as to provide an assessment of the morphologies that the canzone takes on in this historical period, also in relation to their topics and functions. The results obtained about the second half of the 16th century are compared with those about Petrarch, the 14th and early 16th centuries, taking into account the relevant contemporary treatises.
