  • Resumen
    • The essay examines the canzone schemes of a collection that is among the richest collectors of this metrical form in the late 15th century, Rustico Romano’s Perleone. Of the fifteen canzoni out of the total 250 poems, six are based on Petrarchan schemes (Rvf 29, 53 and 125), while the remaining ten (for a total of nine different schemes) display a «nuova textura» that does not seem to be found in other authors. Some of the latter, moreover, not only find no antecedents in the Canzoniere, but do not conform to the canons imposed by Dante and Petrarch, proposing experimental (or archaizing) and apparently irrational morphologies, which show some connection with the ballata form.
