  • This essay tries to explore the argumentative strategies on which Poscia ch’amor del tutto m’ha lasciato e Amor che ne la mente mi ragiona are built, which are different from one another from a thematic and stylistic point of view. In order to achieve this result, adopting a textual perspective, the essay analyzes the typologies of the logic relationships between statements, and the distribution of the anaphoric chains and of the personal deictics referring to the main referents of the text. The results of this research reveal a double and complementary architecture of the two texts, which can be partly extended also to the other Dante’s canzoni.
