Resumen de La forma-canzone fra Occitania e Italia

Paolo Di Luca

  • The essay proposes an examination of the troubadour canzone form and its evolution in the Italian lyric tradition, particularly in the production of the Sicilian School. The constitutive traits of the genre, cobla, verse and rhyme, are taken into consideration, with occasional reference also to the musical dimension, which is essential in Occitan lyric, but is absent, or almost so, in Italian lyric. The analysis not only accounts for the complexity and richness of the Occitan canso, but also reaffirms its role as a model for the Italian one, underlining from time to time the constants and differences in the traslatio and adaptation of the genre on this side of the Alps
