Este artigo aborda o processo de criação do artista conceitual Paulo Bruscky a partir da presença do carimbo em sua prática artística. Por meio de uma visita ao ateliê-arquivo do artista e do uso da entrevista como ferramenta metodológica, propõe-se uma investigação acerca do contexto de sua produção, suas referências, tendências poéticas, suportes utilizados, diálogos com outros artistas, posicionamentos frente à arte, cultura e política, com o intuito de compreender sua complexa rede de criação.
This article approaches the creative process of the conceptual artist Paulo Bruscky from the presence of the rubber stamp in his artistic practice. Through a visit to the artist’s studio-archive and the using of the interview as a methodological tool, an investigation is proposed about the context of his production, his references, poetic tendencies, the medias, dialogues with other artists, opinions about art, culture and politics, in order to understand his complex network of creation.
