    A partir da prática artística e curatorial, o presente ensaio desenha a sua estratégia investigativa: considerar diferentes noções de palco e de ecrã, elasticizando e definindo uma “zona de contacto” que se concretiza quer no espaço expositivo (museográfico ou galerístico) quer, mais especificamente, na experiência da vídeo-instalação. A aproximação de duas linguagens, a cinematográfica e a performativa (entre a “aparição” da imagem e a construção do objecto), instaura um novo paradigma do olhar que coloca em cena o corpo do espectador (agora) movente e activo na orientação do seu próprio processo perceptivo.

    From the artistic and curatorial practices, this paper draws its research strategy: to consider diferent notions of stage and screen, defining an elastic “contact zone” that is materialized either in the exhibition space (museological or in the gallery) or, more specifically, in the experience of the video installation set. the approach of these two languages, cinema and performance (between the “apparition” of the image and the construction of the object), introduces a new paradigm of the gaze that puts forward the body of the (now) moving spectator and the actions that guides its own perceptual process.
