    Juan Antonio Campuzano Hoyos es una figura destacada del Puerto Real del siglo XX. Su peripecia vital estuvo íntimamente ligada al decurso de la historia de España del pasado siglo. Su singular personalidad y sus múltiples facetas como político, periodista, profesor, escritor, traductor y poeta hacen de él un personaje digno de recuerdo y estudio. En el presente artículo intentaremos dibujar los principales trazos de su biografía y realizar una breve aproximación a su obra literaria.

    Juan Antonio Campuzano Hoyos is a prominent figure of the Puerto Real of the 20th century. His vital vicissitudes were closely linked to the course of the history of Spain in the last century. His singular personality and the many facets of him as a politician, journalist, teacher, writer, translator and poet make him a character worth remembering and studying. In this paper we will try to draw the main lines of his biography and make a brief approach to his literary work.
