  ROKITANSKY es un trastorno congénito que afecta al aparato reproductor femenino. Se cree que es causado por una combinación de factores genéticos y ambientales. El diagnóstico se basa en la historia clínica de la paciente y los hallazgos físicos del examen ginecológico, y el tratamiento puede ser quirúrgico o no quirúrgico. El síndrome puede tener un impacto psicológico significativo en las mujeres afectadas y se recomienda el apoyo psicológico. La subrogación y el trasplante uterino son técnicas de reproducción asistida que pueden abordar la falta de útero en estas pacientes.
