  La pancreatitis es la inflamación del páncreas, la cual se caracteriza por la inhibición de la secreción de las enzimas digestivas a la vía biliar, pero manteniéndose la sinterización de estas en el interior del páncreas. Existen dos tipos de pancreatitis, la aguda y la crónica. En este artículo nos centraremos en la primera.

  Aunque existen varias causas que pueden llevar a una pancreatitis aguda, la más común es la litiasis biliar. Hablamos de las manifestaciones clínicas, las posibles complicaciones (tanto leves como graves), las pruebas diagnósticas y el tratamiento de la pancreatitis aguda.

  Para finalizar, hemos realizado un plan de cuidados de enfermería dirigido a pacientes con pancreatitis aguda.
