  • A collection of small sculptures in clay and bronze reveals the pathways through which the Buddhist faith was introduced from China into the Koguryo kingdom of ancient Korea. Recently uncovered photographs of additional sculptures and fragments found in Japanese colonial-era archives further expand our knowledge of the meaning and functions of these sacred images
