    En la siguiente investigación se estudia la efectividad de la metodología STEAM aplicada en el proceso educativo mediante proyectos interdisciplinarios en Educación General Básica, donde se demuestra que se puede mejorar el aprendizaje de los proyectos interdisciplinarios aplicando la metodología STEAM, donde los estudiantes desarrollan su creatividad, habilidades cognitivas y su pensamiento crítico.  Se destaca la importancia de la actualización docente en dichas metodologías para implementar en el aula de clase practicas e innovadoras para de esa forma fomentar el aprendizaje activo, dinámico y creativo de todos los estudiantes. La metodología STEAM se caracteriza por la integración de los contenidos multidisciplinarios de las distintas áreas como Matemáticas, Ciencias, artes, tecnología y ingeniería, donde se pueden relacionar con los conocimientos de los docentes para crear proyectos interdisciplinarios donde se promueva la creatividad y liderazgo de los estudiantes.  La metodología utilizada para el análisis de resultados se realizó mediante el programa SPSS donde se evaluó el chi cuadrado y el análisis factorial de esta investigación donde se logró verificar que dicha metodología si ayuda al docente a mejorar la planificación de los proyectos interdisciplinarios, disminuyendo las horas de planificación y maximizando la ayuda docente de todas las áreas de educación general básica.

    In the following research, the effectiveness of the STEAM methodology applied in the educational process is studied through interdisciplinary projects in Basic General Education, where it is demonstrated that the learning of interdisciplinary projects can be improved by applying the STEAM methodology, where students develop their creativity. cognitive skills and critical thinking. The importance of updating teachers in these methodologies is highlighted to implement practical and innovative practices in the classroom in order to promote active, dynamic and creative learning for all students. The STEAM methodology is characterized by the integration of multidisciplinary content from different areas such as Mathematics, Sciences, arts, technology and engineering, where they can be related to the knowledge of teachers to create interdisciplinary projects where the creativity and leadership of students is promoted. students. The methodology used for the analysis of results was carried out using the SPSS program where the chi square and factor analysis of this research were evaluated, where it was possible to verify that said methodology does help the teacher to improve the planning of interdisciplinary projects, reducing hours. planning and maximizing teaching help in all areas of basic general education.
