    • The article tries to understand the processes of building on indigenous peoples in the movies. The image of theIndian film still sets the stereotypical representations and devoid of historicity and crystallize messages dating backto the letter of Pero Vaz de Caminha: pristine, beautiful and exotic. The imaginary produce has enabled the longprocess of subjection and domination necessary for the appearance of “Indian guy”. Very timidly indigenous groupschallenge the “reinvention of the other” mediants growth videographic practices present in the various festivalsheld mostly in Latin America and the project “Video Village in - Brazil.” Currently, the Indians make up a globalpicture of self-sustainability and digital inclusion, and, secondly, try to deconstruct and ungroup mosaics designedby Eurocentrism, colonization and the national society, ranging from the exotic to the noble savage as the guardianof the forest. Most documentaries about indigenous people relate to the mechanisms of power exercised throughthe social performativity. What are the implications of the statements and performative documentary that today?There is a search to refine the relationship between present and past? As the technology contributes to developmentand dissemination of this a kind of documentary? The objective of this paper is to analyze and (re) define thisuniverse the new facets of this documentary where they mix different shades of claims to give voice to the excluded.
