“ The family romance”, psychoanalytical notion and the family secrets constitute the source of this work which willbe introduce and will allow to direct the researches in different axes : the question of the stake in narrative of pastwithin the story; the psychic or physical return on the scene of past, the confrontation of the narrative of the origins inthe reality and in the present of the characters; dichotomies such as the memory and the romantic, the recollections,the transmission and the fantasies or the myth and the History. This notion, which was also the object of a researchin literature, will allow to operate a questioning of the status of the narrative within the film productions (“ boss’s “notion of Marthe Robert) and will allow to open the study to the History and the art history by being interested in thephenomena of quotations and autoquotations and in the complex interweaving of the individual memory and thecollective memory.
