  • Resumen
    • The Shahnameh of Ferdowsi is one of the most important oeuvres in Persian literature which get into Siavash myth. Many of Iranian filmmakers consider the Siavash myth in their films and adopted this as a source of inspiration. But encountering to this myth is same? We see bunch of filmmakers facing to one myth, narrating it without anybreeding of their inner in it. The question is here whether the filmmaker must reproduce the myth to issue itsnature? Or could it be interpreted instead of repeating the myth. It seems that some filmmakers could move overthe myth to its interpretation. One of them in Iranian cinema is Fereydoun Rahnema, the director of “Siavash inPersepolis” movie (1965). The modern movie based on the Siavash myth, in Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh. Primarily,in this article the concept of myth has been represented and considered it as a single-sphere. Then we will getinto the Siavash myth and the movie of “Siavash in persepolis” and will show that how Fereydoun Rahnema withsome specific contrivances, such as put the new stem in Siavash story and new reading of this story, could reachto the new interpretation of this old myth and due to this, is not just another narrator of the same story, instead,he took question and vanished the hidden sides of Siavash myth (like being a betrayer or a national hero?).
