    En tiempos actuales, la vertiginosa globalización ha logrado que la tecnología juegue un rol importante en la economía de las empresas indistintamente de su tamaño, puesto que, su aplicación genera el éxito de la innovación. En este contexto, el objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el aporte de la innovación tecnológica en el crecimiento económico de las microempresas del sector Juan Montalvo, cantón Pedro Carbo. El diseño metodológico tuvo un enfoque cuali-cuantitativo, a nivel cualitativo es de tipo bibliográfico con enfoque descriptivo debido a que se recopiló información para la estructuración del estudio y de manera cuantitativa se utilizó la encuesta, mediante la cual dicha técnica fue sometida al programa estadístico SPSS, lo que permitió trabajar con las variables estudiadas, así mismo se emplearon métodos teóricos, empíricos y estadísticos. Los resultados demuestran que gran parte significativa de las microempresas presentan algunas debilidades al no invertir en tecnología e innovación.

    In current times, the dizzying globalization has made technology play an important role in the economy of companies regardless of their size, since its application generates the success of innovation. In this context, the objective of this research is to analyze the contribution of technological innovation in the economic growth of microenterprises in the Juan Montalvo sector, Pedro Carbo canton. The methodological design had a qualitative-quantitative approach, at a qualitative level it is bibliographic with a descriptive approach because information was collected for the structuring of the study and the survey was used quantitatively, through which said technique was submitted to the statistical program. SPSS, which allowed working with the variables studied, likewise theoretical, empirical and statistical methods were used. The results show that a significant part of the microenterprises have some weaknesses by not investing in technology and innovation.
