  • COVID-19 pandemic is the world’s greatest public health concern, at the same time with various stages depending on the regions. At the moment of this Editorial (01/06/21), 170 million people have been confirmed cases, which represents 2% of the population of the entire planet. World Health Organization-WHO estimates that 20% of the popula-tion has been infected and the numbers continue to grow (WHO, s.f.). Currently, three of the five countries with the highest number of cases are in Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia)
