    El artículo se dedica al tema de universalismo periférico. En la introducción, se presenta de forma breve el desarrollo de los estudios latinoamericanos en Polonia, con el énfasis en los centros y personas interesados en el aprendizaje recíproco y diálogo interregional. En el siguiente paso, se introduce la figura de Eugeniusz Górski, un pensador e historiador de las ideas polaco. Se desarrolla el tema de los paralelismos existentes entre las regiones europea oriental y latinoamericana, entendidas como regiones periféricas. A base de estos se plantea el tema de pensamiento periférico. Estudiando la obra de Górski se llega al universalismo periférico, como una culminación de filosofía que nace de la posición periférica. Para abordar este tema se introduce otro pensador polaco: Bronisław Ferdynand Trentowski. El artículo es un diálogo entre la tradición filosófica latinoamericana y europea oriental. Se buscan los puentes y puntos de encuentro para poder lograr acercamiento entre dos corrientes de pensamiento.

    The article is devoted to the issue of peripheral universalism. In the introduction, we present briefly the development of Latin American studies in Poland, with the emphasis on centers and investigators interested in reciprocal learning and interregional dialogue. In the next step, we introduce the figure of Eugeniusz Górski, a Polish thinker and historian of ideas. We develop the theme of the parallels between the Eastern European and Latin American regions, understood as peripheral regions. On the basis of these theses we raise the theme of peripheral thought. By studying Górski's work, we arrive to peripheral universalism, as a culmination of philosophy born from the peripheral position. To address this theme, we introduce another Polish thinker: Bronisław Ferdynand Trentowski. The article is a dialogue between the Latin American and Eastern European philosophical tradition. We look for bridges and meeting points in order to achieve rapprochement between two currents of thought.
