  Los hospitales, clínicas o cualquier institución que se dedica a actividades en favor de la salud debe contar con muebles fabricados con un material adecuado para evitar que se generen focos de infección que puedan alterar la salud de las personas que incurren en estos establecimientos diariamente, es por ello que, en el presente documento se realizó el análisis sobre el uso de acero inoxidable como material de fabricación de mobiliario para el sector hospitalario, además, de las ventajas que tiene el uso de este material para este tipo de aplicaciones y las normas que se deben cumplir para destacar el papel de la ética profesional en la fabricación del mobiliario para hospitales.

  Hospitals, clinics or any institution dedicated to activities in favor of health should have furniture made of adequate material to avoid the generation of foci of infection that may alter the health of people who incur these facilities on a daily basis. for this reason, in this document the analysis was made on the use of stainless steel as furniture manufacturing material for the hospital sector, in addition, of the advantages that the use of this material has for this type of applications and the standards that they must be met to highlight the role of professional ethics in the manufacture of hospital furniture.
