    Este ensayo analizará cómo las estrategias enfocadas en las operaciones militares lograron resultados no definitivos entre 1914-1918, mientras aquellos que integraron una forma de gran estrategia a la relación lograron mayor éxito. En primer lugar, se analizará las capacidades de los diferentes gobiernos, su liderazgo civil y militar, su estrategia y su relación con las operaciones militares. En segundo lugar, mostrará cómo estas estrategias tendieron a producir resultados no definitivos. Finalmente, demostrará cómo los Aliados alinearon correctamente la gran estrategia para fortalecer la relación entre estrategia y operaciones.

    This essay will analyse how strategies focused on military operations achieved non-definitive results between 1914-1918. While those who integrated a form of grand strategy to the relationship achieved greater success. First, it will analyse the different governments’ capabilities, their civil and military leadership, their strategy and its relationship with military operations. Second, it will show how these strategies tended to produce non-definitive results. Finally, it will demonstrate how the Allies correctly aligned grand strategy to strengthen the relationship between strategy and operations.
