    • Social standards in Ukrainian legislation and international regulations are important for creating decent living conditions. Ukraine strives to meet international standards of social protection and become a member of the European Community. The social security system is national but needs to take into account international standards. The safety and social protection of critical infrastructure workers are important for their well-being. International cooperation through the International Labour Organization and other organizations plays a key role. The implementation of internationalstandards at the national level, including policies and legislation, improves working conditions and attracts investment. Protecting workers’ rights contributes to their productivity and the development of critical infrastructure. The study is relevant and important for understanding, developing, and implementing effective social protection strategies for workers in critical infrastructure. Various methods were used to analyze international standards for the social protection of workers in critical infrastructure. These included a literature review, induction and deduction methods, comparative legal analysis, analysis and synthesis, logical analysis, systems analysis, and sociological methods. The use of these methods allowed for a deeper understanding of social protection standards and their potential benefits for critical infrastructure workers. The findings contribute to the formulation of recommendations for the effective implementation of these standardsin nationalsocial protection systems.
