A finales del año 1565 y comienzos del año 1566, un grupo de nobles de los Países Bajos redactó un texto reclamando la moderación de la persecución de la herejía en la región. At the end of 1565 and the beginning of 1566, a group of nobles from the Netherlands wrote a text demanding the moderation of the persecution of heresy in the region. The document, which is known as the Nobility Commitment or the Breda Commitment, would have key legal, institutional and political consequences in the future of conflict in the area.
