Resumen de Movimento de resistência socioterritorial pretérito (Século XVIII) que resultou em conflito armado: a Guerra Guaranítica

The present work intends to discuss the reasons for the Guaranitic War carried out by the Guarani Indians against the Portuguese-Spanish troops in the south of Brazil. The research established in the first place the objectives of the work; the theoretical-methodological referential on the question of historical geography; subsequently, it established the meaning of a Treaty from the point of view of International Law. Next, it deals with the Madrid Treaty of 1750, continuing with reflections on the Seven Peoples of the Missions, the Colony of the Blessed Sacrament, as well as a more detailed study on the Guarani Indians. The work ends with a discussion of the Guaranitic War, showing its losses, its gains, as well as the significance of this conflict within the history of Brazilian civilization.

O presente trabalho pretende discutir as razões da Guerra Guaranítica realizada pelos índios Guarani, contra as tropas luso-espanholas, no sul do Brasil. A pesquisa começou tecendo algumas considerações sobre o significado de um Tratado e, em seguida, abordou o Tratado de Madrid, de 1750, prosseguindo com reflexões sobre os Sete Povos das Missões, a Colônia do Santíssimo Sacramento, bem como um estudo mais circunstanciado sobre os índios Guaranis. O trabalho termina com a discussão sobre a Guerra Guaranítica, mostrando as suas perdas, os seus ganhos, bem como o significado deste conflito, no âmbito da história da civilização brasileira.
