Resumen de Alumnat amb trastorn de l’espectre autista (TEA) a les Illes Balears

  En aquests darrers anys, l’escola pública de les Illes Balears ha experimentat un augment significatiu d’alumnat amb trastorn de l’espectre autista (TEA). Per aquest motiu presentam una recerca investigadora que intentarà introduir-nos en el concepte actual de TEA i aprofundir en la seva evolució. Analitzarem com les dones TEA estan infradiagnosticades i com queda definit aquest trastorn dins les categories de les necessitats específiques de suport educatiu (NESE) segons la Llei orgànica de modificació de la llei orgànica d’educació (LOMLOE). Determinarem quines mesures de suport poden rebre dins l’escola pública i descriurem les diferents fases del seu protocol. Constatarem la seva prevalença, en l’àmbit escolar, i si hi ha un possible sobrediagnòstic. Finalment, enumerarem tots els professionals que poden actuar davant l’alumnat TEA, amb la qual cosa demostrarem que l’escola pública té prou recursos professionals,i donarem pautes educatives per millorar el seu procés d’ensenyament/aprenentatge.

  In recent years, State schools in the Balearic Islands have registered a significant increase in the number of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). For this reason, we present a research study that seeks to introduce the current concept of ASD and take a closer look at its evolution. We analyze the fact that ASD women are underdiagnosed and how ASD is defined within the NESE (Students with Special Education Needs) categories according to the New Spanish Education Law (LOMLOE). We determine what support measures these pupils can receive in the State schools and we describe the different phases of their protocol. We ascertain the prevalence of ASD in schools in recent years and whether there is a possible overdiagnosis. Lastly, we list all the professionals who can work with ASD students, proving that the State schools have sufficient professional resources, and we provide some educational guidelines for improving the teaching/learning process at these schools.
