The study aims to provide a reflection on the writing of one of the most controversial authors of the 20th century: Violette Leduc (1907-1972). This article includes the transcription of three unpublished texts from Violette Leduc’s autobiographical novel La Folie en tête (1972), conserved at the Manuscript Department of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. Le Chat, Les soldats and Le peigne de Simone de Beauvoir are three emblematic examples of Leduc’s stylistic variety and her ability to weave intertextual relationships within her work, as in the case of Les soldats, or relating to other authors of her contemporaries, such as Colette and Nathalie Sarraute in the case of Le Chat and Le peigne de Simone de Beauvoir.
