    Resumen: Este artículo analiza la Conferencia Mundial de Solidaridad con Chile, realizada en Madrid entre el 9 y 11 de noviembre de 1978, y el actuar de la diplomacia chilena frente a este acto contrario a la dictadura cívico-militar chilena. Para esto, y más allá del marco teórico sobre el cual se descansa, se realiza un extenso trabajo heuristico y hermenéutico sobre la documentacion diplomatica chilena. Esta publicación permite así aventurar ciertas propuestas no solo sobre esta conferencia, sino también sobre el actuar y limitaciones de la diplomacia en tiempos de dictadura.

    Abstract: This article analyzes the World Conference of Solidarity with Chile, held in Madrid between November 9 and 11, 1978, and the actions of Chilean diplomacy in the face of this act contrary to the Chilean civil-military dictatorship. For this, and beyond the theoretical framework on which it rests, extensive heuristic and hermeneutical work is carried out on Chilean diplomatic documentation. This publication thus makes it possible to venture certain proposals not only about this conference, but also about the actions and limitations of diplomacy in times of dictatorship.
