Remuneración económica y sus dificultades en el cumplimiento al código de ética de la fisioterapia: Reflexión bioética

    Introducción: Dado el código de ética de la fisioterapia y el deber del cumplimiento de la Ley 528 de 1999, se realiza una reflexión bioética sobre el posible efecto de la remuneración económica del fisioterapeuta y sus dificultades al cumplimiento de dicho código; además, se discute la posibilidad de la intervención de la bioética en efectos económicos de los profesionales. Metodología: Obedeciendo al propósito principal de ilustrar a los protagonistas de la salud sobre la situación de remuneración laboral de los fisioterapeutas como un potencial modificador del bienestar, se revisan datos científicos que reposan en la literatura gris y en la disponibilidad en bases de datos como PubMed; Scielo; y Google Académico que expresan la actualidad de las condiciones laborales en materia de economía y las leyes que regularizan el actuar ético de los profesionales en fisioterapia. Resultados: De acuerdo con la actualidad laboral de la fisioterapia, la información expresa la necesidad de aceptar las condiciones económicas de los profesionales en materia de su ejercicio profesional como un factor que modifica el bienestar del trabajador, y, por ende, el de su paciente. Se argumenta la intervención de la bioética en los aspectos económicos como una herramienta de soluciones sostenibles y políticas que permitan el desarrollo del ejercicio profesional de la fisioterapia como un aspecto importante para su vida y la vida de quienes interviene. Conclusión: Por último, se recomiendan algunas acciones dirigidas a la investigación para un entendimiento completo de la actualidad económica de los fisioterapeutas, y, posteriormente, iniciar el escalonamiento a la intervención de la bioética en temas económicos de los profesionales en esta área.

    Introduction: Given the code of ethics of physiotherapy and the duty to comply with Law 528 of 1999, a bioethical reflection is carried out on the possible effect of the financial remuneration of the physiotherapist and its difficulties in complying with said code; Furthermore, the possibility of the intervention of bioethics in the economic effects of professionals is discussed. Methodology: Obeying the main purpose of illustrating health protagonists about the labor remuneration situation of physiotherapists as a potential modifier of well-being, scientific data based on gray literature and availability in databases such as PubMed are reviewed. ; Scielo; and Google Scholar that express the current working conditions in terms of economics and the laws that regulate the ethical actions of physiotherapy professionals. Results: In accordance with the current work of physiotherapy, the information expresses the need to accept the economic conditions of professionals in terms of their professional practice as a factor that modifies the well-being of the worker, and, therefore, that of their patient. . The intervention of bioethics in economic aspects is argued as a tool for sustainable and political solutions that allow the development of the professional practice of physiotherapy as an important aspect for their lives and the lives of those who intervene. Conclusion: Finally, some actions aimed at research are recommended for a complete understanding of the current economic situation of physiotherapists, and subsequently, begin the escalation of bioethics intervention in economic issues of professionals in this area.
