    El artículo plantea el inicio, la evolución y la realidad de las investigaciones y los estudios sobre Arte Contemporáneo en la ciudad de Sevilla, atendiendo a las publicaciones de los principales investigadores establecidos en la misma. El trabajo de recopilación bibliográfica aporta una guía rigurosa para aquellos que pretendan iniciarse en la especialidad, así como un texto de consulta para los especialistas acreditados, que contarán con una herramienta adecuada y acorde con la disciplina de las Fuentes para la Historia del Arte. También refleja a través de las editoriales citadas el mundo de la edición y la aportación social de dos grandes instituciones, la Diputación Provincial y la Universidad de Sevilla, que con su continuo apoyo hicieron posible muchas de estas publicaciones.

    The articles raises the begining, the evolution and the reality of the investigations and the studies on Contemporary Art in the city of Seville, taking into account the publications of the main researchers established in it. The bibliographic compilation work provides a rigorous guide for those who intend to start in the specialty, as well as a reference text for accredited specialists, who will have an adequate tool and in accordance with the discipline of Sources of Art History. It also reflects through the aforementioned publishers the world of publishing and the social contribution of two large institutions, Diputacion Provincial and University of Seville, which with their continuous support made many of these publications possible.
