Resumen de El proceso investigativo y su vinculación con las herramientas digitales: una aproximación desde la primera cohorte acreditada de un posgrado de la UNED de Costa Rica

  El uso de internet y las herramientas digitales ha provocado un cambio en los procesos de acceso, creación, gestión y publicación de la información. Así, la tecnología ayuda a la persona investigadora a desarrollar sus habilidades y estimular su creatividad científica, lo que genera que la formación sea más compleja y transversal. Por ello, se plantea un estudio cuantitativo para analizar qué tipo de acciones se ejecutan en el proceso investigativo el estudiantado de un posgrado y su vinculación con las herramientas tecnológicas. Entre los resultados destaca un bajo porcentaje en el empleo de bases de datos institucionales, bibliotecas digitales y operadores boleados, pese a la valía científica que aportan en la investigación, lo que constituye una alerta para las autoridades académicas.

  The use of the Internet and digital tools has caused a notable change in the processes of accessing, consuming, creating, managing, and publishing information.

  Thus, technology helps researchers to develop their skills and stimulate their scientific creativity, which makes the training of researchers increasingly complex and transversal.

  For this reason, a study with a quantitative approach was proposed, to analyze what type of actions the postgraduate students at the State Distance University (UNED) of Costa Rica carry out in the research process, and their connection with technological tools. Among the results, it stands out that there is a low percentage of the population that uses institutional databases, digital libraries, and bolete operators, despite the value and scientific quality that they contribute to the resolution of the problem that arises in the research, which constitutes an alert for academic authorities
