    El presente trabajo analiza la sentencia del Tribunal de Justicia de la Unión Europea (TJUE), de fecha 21 de diciembre de 2023, C-333/21 [European Superleague Company, S.L. vs. Fèdèration Internationale de football association (FIFA) y Union des Associations européennes de football (UEFA)], en relación con la pretensión de la sociedad española European Superleague Company, S.L. (constituida por iniciativa de determinados clubes de fútbol profesional) de poner en marcha una nueva competición internacional de fútbol profesional llamada «Superliga».

    This paper analyzes the ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), dated December 21, 2023, C-333/21 [European Superleague Company, S.L. vs. Fèdèration Internationale de football association (FIFA) and Union des Associations européennes de football (UEFA)], in relation to the claim of the Spanish company European Superleague Company, S.L. (at the initiative of certain professional football clubs) to launch a new international professional football competition called «Super League».
