El artículo analiza dos instituciones objeto de atención en el Real Decreto Ley 6/2023, que ha introducido el procedimiento testigo y ha reformado el procedimiento monitorio en el orden social. Ambas instituciones tratar de agilizar y economizar trámites procesales, pero dado el diseño de ambas instituciones es probable que el procedimiento testigo se generalice, mientras que el monitorio laboral continue teniendo un uso marginal.

The article analyzes two institutions regulated by RDL 6/2023, which has introduced the leading case and has reformed the monitoring procedure in the social order. Both institutions try to streamline and economize procedural procedures, but given the design of both institutions, it is likely that the witness procedure will become widespread, while labor monitoring continues to have marginal use.
