  Este trabajo estudia dos grandes conjuntos en la cultura adolescente. Uno de ellos refiere a la cultura adolescente clásica, la cultura del pacto social y la moratoria psicosocial, de la cual da cuenta un frondoso imaginario social.

  Se indica que desde esta sociedad capaz de sostener procesos de moratoria, bienestar y seguridad, la cultura adolescente participa tanto de lo mítico, como de lo utópico. En su vertiente mítica reproduce rituales que garantizan la necesidad tradicional de cambio de lo viejo y vetusto a lo nuevo y enérgico. En tanto utopía mantiene un potencial de ruptura y creatividad que es garante de renovación y complejidad social. Esta cultura tradicional parece situar tradicionalmente al adolescente como romántico, contestatario o revolucionario. Defiende así los valores de independencia, amistad, culto al cuerpo y prosperidad. Pero, por otro lado se va consolidando una cultura de post-adolescencia ya no centrada en valores de éxito social y ciudadanía, sino en desarraigo, escepticismo o mesianismo.

  This paper studies two large groups in adolescent culture. One of them refers to the classic adolescent culture, the culture of the social pact and psychosocial moratorium, which accounts for a lush social imaginary.

  It is indicated that from this society, capable of sustaining processes of moratorium, well-being and security, adolescent culture participates in both the mythical and the utopian. In its mythical aspect, it reproduces rituals that guarantee the traditional need for change from the old and old-fashioned to the new and energetic. As utopia, it maintains a potential for rupture and creativity that is a guarantor of renovation and social complexity. This traditional culture seems to traditionally situate the adolescent as romantic, rebellious or revolutionary. It thus defends the values of independence, friendship, the cult of the body and prosperity. But,on the other hand, a post-adolescent culture is consolidating, no longer centred on values of social success and citizenship, but on uprootedness, scepticism or messianism.
