La asistencia capitular a los actos litúrgicos de la Catedral de Cuenca (1400-1468): un estudio de aproximación estadística

    El trabajo que se presenta a continuación es fruto del deseo de llevar a cabo una indagación estadística sobre el problema del absentismo a los actos litúrgicos que, hasta la fecha, se le ha presupuesto al cabildo catedralicio de Cuenca durante todo el periodo medieval. A partir del análisis profundo con técnicas cuantitativas de los Libros de Pitancería conservados en el Archivo Capitular de Cuenca, hemos tratado de aproximarnos al índice real de asistencia de los capitulares durante un periodo muy concreto del siglo XV: 1400-1468. Gracias a ello hemos podido alcanzar unas primeras y sorprendentes conclusiones que, junto a la metodología empleada, se publican en este artículo.

    The work presented below is the result of the desire to carry out a statistical investigation into the problem of absenteeism from liturgical events, which has historically been attributed to the cathedral chapter of Cuenca throughout the medieval period. Through a deep analysis using quantitative techniques of the Pitancería Books preserved in the Capitular Archive of Cuenca, we have tried to approach the real attendance rate of the chapter members during a very specific period of the 15th century: 1400-1468. Thanks to this, we have been able to reach some initial and surprising conclusions, which, along with the methodology employed, are published in this article.
