    Tras el fin de la Gran Guerra comenzaría a desarrollarse un nuevo escenario bajo la figura de un organismo multilateral, como fue la Sociedad de Naciones y del cual Chile no iba a quedarse ajeno. Por consiguiente, el presente artículo aborda los hitos más trascendentes que se vivieron al interior del Congreso Nacional para que el Gobierno contara con su aprobación. Asimismo, a través del análisis de prensa del periodo, se expondrán los momentos y temáticas más relevantes que se informaron a la opinión pública chilena en torno a lo que significaba sumarse a esta Sociedad de Naciones.

    Following the conclusion of the Great War, a new scenario began to unfold under the framework of a multilateral organization, such as the League of Nations, in which Chile would not remain indifferent. Consequently, this article addresses the most significant milestones that occurred within the National Congress to secure its approval for the government. Additionally, through the analysis of press coverage from the period, the article will present the most relevant moments and themes that were communicated to the Chilean public regarding the implications of joining the League of Nations.
