Resumen de Leer en la universidad: herramientas para favorecer la lectura académica. Una experiencia en la Facultad de Ciencias Veterinarias

  Las llaves que hacen posibletransitar con éxito las trayectorias estudiantiles en los distintos niveles del sistema educativo son ciertamente la lectura y la escritura. Estas herramientas permiten el acceso al saber de los estudiantes, haciendo posible que se apropien de la lengua escrita, puedan participar del mundo de la cultura para transformarla, favoreciendo así su inclusión social. Aprender a leer es la condición que define el acceso al saber. Desde el Servicio de Orientación Educativa de la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral, cuya función esencial es brindar espacios de acompañamiento estudiantil, surgen preocupaciones y proyectos vinculados a fomentar el incremento de habilidades descendidas. El objetivo de esta comunicación es socializar las herramientas y recursos cognitivos que los estudiantes del primer año de ingreso a la carrera de Medicina Veterinaria utilizan a la hora de leer y comprender textos académicos. La metodología de abordaje utilizada fue estadístico descriptivo, buscando a través de la confección de un formulario Google Forms, recabar información acerca de las diversas estrategias que administran los estudiantes a la hora de leer un texto académico. La encuesta fue remitida vía link por medio del entorno virtual institucional obteniendo un registro de 153 estudiantes ingresantes.

  The keys that make it possible to successfully navigate student trajectories at the different levels of the educational system are certainly reading and writing. These tools allow access to students' knowledge, making it possible for them to appropriate the written language, to participate in the world of culture to transform it, thus favoring their social inclusion. Learning to read is the condition that defines access to knowledge. From the Educational Orientation Service of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, whose essential function is to provide spaces for student support, concerns and projects linked to promoting the increase of descended skills arise. The objective of this communication is to socialize the cognitive tools and resources that the students of the first year of admission to the Veterinary Medicine career use when reading and understanding academic texts. The approach methodology was limited to the preparation of a Google Forms form with the idea of gathering information about the various strategies that students administer when reading anacademic text. The survey was sent via link through the institutional virtual environment, obtaining a record of 153 incoming students.
